The 80T pitch-based carbon fiber prepreg is a high-end composite intermediate material developed as a key focus of our company. It uses high-strength pitch-based carbon fibers as the reinforcement and combines them with a special resin system featuring excellent adhesion, manufactured through an advanced continuous hot-melt process. This product delivers outstanding overall performance: tensile strength reaches up to 3000 MPa, tensile modulus exceeds 780 GPa, and wear resistance is improved by over 40% compared to conventional 55T series materials. At the same time, it offers lightweight and high-rigidity characteristics—its density is only about 40% that of traditional metal materials. Additionally, it exhibits exceptional dimensional stability after curing and extremely low thermal expansion coefficient, enabling dimensional deviation control within 0.3% even under harsh conditions such as high temperature and high-frequency friction.

In terms of the molding process, this prepreg material has excellent laydown properties and process compatibility, enabling it to flexibly meet the requirements of various molding methods such as compression molding and autoclave molding. This effectively addresses the long-standing problem of insufficient compatibility between imported high-end prepregs and domestic equipment.
As a strategic key basic material, the application prospects of 80T asphalt-based carbon fiber prepreg are extremely broad. With outstanding characteristics such as high strength, high modulus, wear resistance, and high temperature resistance, this product can be widely applied in high-end brake pads, motor carbon brushes, and precision structural components, which all have extremely high requirements for material wear resistance and dimensional stability. At the same time, it also has significant application value in strategic emerging industries such as aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
